As we drove out of the parking lot, the fog had rolled back in, to the point where the monument was completely obscured. Great timing!

Mount Rushmore
Our timing was excellent. As we headed out to see Mt Rushmore, we drove through dreary weather that turned into fog. We all doubted that we were going to be able to see anything at all, but as we got closer the fog lifted and the cloud even cleared slightly. We got out opportunity to get good pictures of the experience...

Glad you could see it. The last time we drove through there, we didn't time it well and went through in the dark!
